A great place for a takeaway or sit near the square and enjoy watching the people go by. Good menu. I had a voucher filling my food tour and so mine was the plain mortadella sandwich. It was delicious!

Really nice fried fish. Some fish could have been fried longer but it was delicious.

Get the Mortadella in the lightly fried bread! They cut the Mortadella so thinly and then add it directly to the freshly made fried dough. It makes an amazing sandwich that just melts without being greasy. It's simple, understated and we kept returning just for that

Delicious fried sardines. We already ate lunch but could not resist the temptation. Tomorrow, we will go back for the fried dessert.

I was looking around for some snacks and noticed this lovely place. The staff was really friendly, everything looked so clean. I tried a mixed fried seafood and liked it a lot! (It must be around 9 euros if I am not mistaken) Especially the fried desert with lemon and pistacchio cream is a special flavour that I highly recommend!

We passed this place by chance. It is nestled amongst a couple of shops and a store selling fruits and veg right in front. The lane is clean despite the heavy thoroughfare. The lane has brightly coloured buildings which adds to the atmosphere. We ordered the Mixed Fried. It has shrimps, anchovies, calamari, fish pieces, a croquette with lemon custard filling. This mixed bag of goodies is definitely yummmz! We went for seconds and an extra helping of the croquettes. If you come by Bologna and don’t want a heavy sit in lunch, this is the place. The is street food and food for the soul. A Marcello also has other choices of food to suit.

Great quick walk and eat food. The food is mostly fried and presented in a cone-like container with skewers so you can grab and go. We ordered the ham in a fried dough (forgot the name) and cod fish fritters with fries. Not healthy, but good. The only disappointment was $4 for what appeared to be 4 oz of wine in a disposable plastic "wine glass."
